How to choose Franklin Sports gear
Balls & games
Match the ball to the surface and age group. Indoor balls feel softer, while outdoor balls use tougher covers that last on concrete and asphalt.
Gloves & mitts
Size by age and position, and give leather gloves time to break in. Youth gloves with softer leather close more easily for new players.
Protective & support
Choose by sport and level, and check for certifications such as NOCSAE on helmets and face guards. A snug, comfortable fit matters more than extra padding.
Training & practice
Home training gear pays off when it is quick to set up. Look for adjustable height, stable bases and sizes that fit your yard or garage.
Apparel & socks
Pick moisture-wicking fabrics for hot games and check the size chart, as team cuts can run roomy. Darker colors hide field dirt better.
Accessories
Small accessories such as grips, tape and pumps keep your main gear performing like new and are easy gifts for players.
