How to choose a pickleball gift for him
How much does he play?
New players need paddles, balls and a bag. Regular players appreciate a better paddle, court shoes or a home net. Everyone uses balls and grips.
Check his gear
If he carries paddles in a gym bag, get a pickleball backpack. If his paddle is wood or from a cheap set, get a carbon paddle. If he plays in running shoes, get court shoes. If he complains about court wait times, get a net.
Practical beats novelty
Funny shirts and signs are fun, but the gifts players use every week are gear. If you want something fun, add it to a practical main gift.

Pickleball gifts for men who have everything
If he already owns a good paddle, bag and shoes, choose something that adds to his game rather than replaces gear: a portable net for home practice, a pack of X-40 balls for drilling, fresh overgrips, or lessons with a local coach. Gear that wears out, like balls and grips, is always welcome.
Unique and personalized pickleball gifts for him
Make a practical gift personal: pick the bag in his favorite color, add a note about your next doubles game, or pair a paddle with a clinic or tournament entry. Experiences, like a weekend pickleball camp or court time at a club, are memorable gifts for players who already have the gear.
Pickleball birthday gifts for him
For a birthday, combine one main gift with one small extra: the backpack with a pack of balls inside, the paddle with overgrips, or the net with a tumbler for the first home game. It feels generous without needing a big budget.

CAMBIVO Elbow Brace Strap, 2 Pack
Perfect for: players who feel elbow or forearm pain after long sessions, which is common in pickleball.
- Pack2 straps
- TypeCounterforce strap
- UsePickleball and tennis
- Rating4.4★ (3,600+ ratings)
Why it makes a great gift: Pickleball elbow is very common among regular players. A counterforce strap is a simple, affordable way to ease strain during play.
Keep in mind: A strap helps with symptoms but is not a cure; persistent pain should be checked by a doctor.
Sukeen Cooling Towels, 4 Pack
Perfect for: players who play outdoors in the heat, from Florida to Arizona.
- Pack4 towels
- Size40 x 12 in
- UseNeck and shoulders
- Rating4.5★ (28,000+ ratings)
Why it makes a great gift: Pickleball is often played in full sun. A cooling towel at changeovers makes hot games much more comfortable, and the 4-pack covers a doubles group.
Keep in mind: They work less well in very humid air. See the best cooling towels.
Pickleball stocking stuffers for him
Outdoor balls, overgrips, an edge guard tape kit, massage balls and a cold-drink tumbler are all small gifts he will use every week.
