Why the Masters is special

The Masters is the only men's major played at the same course every year, which is why so many of its holes are famous: Amen Corner (holes 11, 12 and 13), the par-5 13th and the 16th over the water. The winner receives the green jacket, and the champion's dinner and the Par 3 Contest are traditions fans look forward to every spring.

Getting tickets

Most Masters tickets are sold through an annual ticket lottery run by Augusta National, with applications taken on masters.com. Be wary of unofficial resale offers. Spectators at Augusta are called "patrons," and the club does not allow mobile phones on the grounds during the tournament, so plan to leave yours in the car.
